A comedy character who is mischievous, lighthearted, and coquettish— often a confidante of the ingenue, she displays a flirtatious nature.

Famous examples are the characters Ado Annie in Oklahoma and Ellie Mae Chipley, who sings "Life Upon the Wicked Stage," in Showboat.
Also, leading ladies such as Chicago's Roxie and Damn Yankees' Lola.

3rd year Teaching at Monona Academy of Dance- It is so inspiring to watch students grow under your own tutelage year after year! Ballet, Tap and Jazz students have been thriving at the Sun Prairie satellite studio.

TIME WARP at the historic Orpheum Theatre- Raven Software and Celebrations Entertainment teamed up to create an awe-inspiring Halloween treat! With a visit from me as Columbia and her gang from Rocky Horror, the Time Warp was done again!

COMMERCIAL FOR SAFETYNET- Are you prepared for layoff season? You know, that time after the holidays? This great company offers unemployment insurance and hired me (and a nasty layoff elf) for a high-quality commercial to be aired across the MidWest.

CHRISTMAS AT THE PALACE In this gorgeous Radio City-inspired revue, enjoy a show packed with singing, dancing, and even live animals! My cocker spaniel Zoey makes her stage debut in the NYC streetscape, and a real (huge) camel, donkey, and goats are featured in the live nativity closer. In April, I starred in the title role of a short film called RUBY, written and diredcted by Andrew Turner. Watch for it on the Festival Scene.



On May 20, I took my students for a very special performance opportunity to the Sun Prairie Public Library to give a free showcase preview. Then their end of year recital was MATC Mitby Theatre on June 4.Amazing to see how far students grow in a single year!


I choreographed the finale to the acclaimed 2017 Tommy Awards in Overture Hall at the Overture Center on June 11. The entire show was Live-streamed by Wisconsin Public Television (my piece begins at 1:45:34)


In July, the brothers and sisters of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Local 251 voted me into their membership. Union Strong!


The greatest production and culmination of all my efforts for the past several years came about on July 29, when I married lighting designer, head electrician, carpenter, rigger, and production manager Brian Weinkauf onstage at the beautiful Capitol Theatre, serenaded by the talented Michael Massey, Andrew Abrams, Gail Becker, Caren Hearne, Robert Micheli, and Anthony Giorgio-Schmidt.


Some of my students will be performing at the annual Sun Prairie CORNFEST on August 20.

On November 14, I took my students for a very special performance opportunity to the Aster Senior Community to give a ballet class demonstration and talent showcase. The dancers did beautifully and residents loved it and have asked us back for more! Still accepting students for the remainder of the school year...


I've been chosen as part of an elite team of teaching artists to launch a program that begins in Madison area schools in January, 2017 as part of the Overture Center for the Arts. Disney Musicals in Schools initiated by giving a $100,000 grant from Disney to bring the program to the Madison area. The program is an outreach initiative developed by Disney Theatrical Group to create sustainable theater programs in under-resourced elementary schools.


I have been asked to choreograph for the Tommy Ensemble's spring cabaret performance on March 3. Catch Me If You Can!

Thrilled to announce that Sabra will be playing Morticia in THE ADDAMS FAMILY musical at the Show Palace in Hudson, FL from February 27- April 3.


Sabra will be modeling artist Lon Michels' hand-painted gowns at Madison's premier benefit for the arts. The FROSTIBALL annual gala will be at the Overture Center on January 30.


Students at Monona Academy of Dance have really started to blossom. Looking forward to their recital in June to show off what they've learned.


Sabra had a fantastic masterclass with Mimi Quillen to learn some of the original Bob Fosse choreography of "If They Could See Me Now" from SWEET CHARITY at Broadway Dance Center in NYC. Dancing with a hat and cane is harder than it looks!


Looking forward to GYPSY at the beautiful Capitol Theatre, June 17-18.

It's official- I have relocated to Madison, WI. (For the right price, I am still accepting contracts for performing in NYC and around the country. Heck, around the world!)


I just finished assisting Michael Blatt (last year's Cougar Ball director) with some choreography for his new production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC in Oslo, Norway, which opened to rave reviews!

Sabra is thrilled to be sharing her musical theatre dance knowledge as a guest faculty member at 3 different acclaimed dance schools this summer: The Madison Ballet and the Monona Academy of Dance in Madison, WI, and VF Dance in Gaithersburg, MD.


As the premier DJ and event services company for weddings and corporate events in Madison, WI, Celebrations Entertainment has brought Sabra on as their dance manager to hire and train their new team of Party Motivators to bring their events to a whole new level.


In theatre, it helps to be well-rounded. Not only does Sabra sing, dance, and act, but she's been working as a Stagehand for some of Broadway's national tours. It pays to be more than just a pretty face ;)


THE annual COUGAR BALL ("3rd Time's A Charm") brought in $3200 this year to benefit The Actors Fund and the Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative! A full house enjoyed the speakeasy theme at The West End Lounge at Broadway and 107th Streets in NYC on March 29.


Sabra continued to delight audiences with her Gypsy Rose Lee-inspired opening act for Jesse Luttrell's BAWDY at the Triad in NYC.


Adding a new special skill to her arsenal, Sabra became a stiltwalker for NYC's premier event and entertainment company Chez-zam! (The can-can dancer on the home page is me)


I am returning to The Allenberry Playhouse (near Harrisburg, PA) to play Vera in MAME Sept 3-28

I am very proud to announce that the CATCH Organization, LLC (Choose Action To Change Humanity) has made me their Chief Operations Officer and will be taking on many projects in the coming months.

CATCH has a number of goals, but creating community-outreach based theatrical works and housing for actors is at the top of the list!

CATCH will be taking over the producing responsibilities for my annual fundraiser The Cougar Ball and is currently managing shows off-Broadway, at colleges, and heading onto cruise ships.

I've been assisting one of my favorite choreographers, Christopher Noffke, in a new off-Broadway production of "BARE"which will play the York Theatre and St. Peter's June 6-16.
